Despite the cool weather, 1st Grade had a great time at Country Kids Pumpkin Patch. They played in the corn pit, went down the giant slide, found their way out of the corn maze, rode on the pedal go-carts, and did many other fun activities. They also got to choose a pumpkin to take home.

1st Grade made Pumpkin Pie in a Cup. They worked in small groups to help mix the filling and they made their own crust by smashing a graham cracker. The pie was assembled and topped with whipped cream if they wanted it. They had a great time making the recipe, but their favorite part was eating the pumpkin pie.
