Here is our May calendar! This is the final calendar for the 25-26 school year! A couple of reminders!!
Awards will be, May 12, 2026 at 1:00pm with doors opening at 12:30pm. Once the ceremony is complete kids will be dismissed immediately after with busses running at 2:00pm.
**IF your student is receiving an award they will have a flyer to bring home stating so. These flyers will be handed out prior to the ceremony**
Graduation will be , Thursday May 14, 2026 at 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:30pm--seating will be first come first served.
The LAST day of school will be, Monday May 18, 2026 with a 2:00pm dismissal. Please make arrangements for transportation for your student!

Due to wet field conditions and the potential for severe weather, today's Franklin Park track meet (4/27/2026) has been cancelled. Unfortunately, the meet will not be rescheduled.

Mark your calendars for the Willow Grove School Awards Ceremony!! Students receiving awards will receive a flyer from their teacher prior to the ceremony. The ceremony will take place, Tuesday May 12,2026 at 1:00pm. Doors will open at 12:30pm. Please enter through the gym doors. Students will be dismissed once awards are complete. 8th grade spent their day at Kaskaskia College at the career fair. Students attended 5 sessions of different career options. They enjoyed their day away and all learned something new.

Willow Grove School students will return from spring break tomorrow, Tuesday April 7, 2026 with a regular dismissal time. Welcome back students! Also, 5th grade will start their swimming lessons tomorrow, Tuesday April 7, 2026. Please make sure they have a towel, swimming suit and a change of clothes. Thank you!
Attention Track Team Members and Families:
We wanted to share an update regarding next week’s schedule. Practice will remain as originally planned on Tuesday, April 7, as the meet previously discussed for that date has reached capacity. Practice will also continue as scheduled on Thursday and Friday.
Additionally, we have added a meet on Monday, April 13, at Bluford High School beginning at 3:00 PM. More detailed information will be sent home with students next week.
