Today we honored our 8th Grade Cross Country runner at the Oil Belt Conference meet. We have enjoyed watching Saphyre Cottone run this season.
1st Grade has been learning about apples this week. They have learned about the life cycle of an apple and have tasted a variety of foods produced from apples. They helped make applesauce and enjoyed eating their finished product. Many comments of "This is so good" were made when sampling it and many asked to have a second serving. They made apple pie in a cup and tasted apple juice and apple juice. The class made a tally chart and graph of everyone's favorite apple treat and a plain apple was the favorite.

Congratulations to the St. Mary/Willow Grove Wildcards on their first game regional win this evening against Rome. They will be back on the field on Thursday for the semi-final game at 6:00 PM. Good luck, boys!
🏀2nd and 3rd graders were sent home with this flyer today. Basketball is right around the corner, but we are looking for a volunteer coach for these kiddos. If you would like to coach or know someone who would like to, please have them reach out to the number on the flyer.🏀
The Centralia Halloween Festival Foundation is looking for volunteers, specifically students to help carry flags!
Thank you to all who participated in the School Store fundraiser.
We had 56% of our students take part this year. We raised a little over $300 just from putting in emails!
There were also around 30 gift cards donated to various teachers, totaling over $1100. Teachers will be able to use those gift cards to purchase different classroom supplies through School Store.
All of this is possible because of our amazing families! Thank you all!
Tonight we recognized the Lady Wildcard 8th graders. Willow Grove's own Hayslee Rosol was apart of the big win over Patoka 13-0.

If you want your student to be seen please make sure you have filled out the online portal or have turned in your physical form in the office. Forms will still be available in the front office if needed until Wednesday September 23, 2026.
