âWednesday at 6 pm Centralia High School is having an 8th Grade Parent Orientation Night. Try to attend this meeting with your child, it is a very informative meeting about what to expect in the coming year.

1st Grade made applesauce today as part of their learning about apples. They all helped by cutting up the apples and putting in the additional ingredients. They enjoyed the smell of it as it cooked in the classroom throughout the day, but their favorite part was eating it.
8th grade students are selling kettle corn to raise funds for their 8th grade trip to Holiday World. If you would like to order, contact an 8th grade student or email Mrs. Trumbo: ktrumbo@willowgroveschool.org
So far we have had 81 students participate in the School Store fundraiser. Our goal is to have 95 students participate. We are SO CLOSE! Yesterday we started a SchoolStore program to help our school raise money. An envelope explaining how the program works has been sent home with your student. Parents, please read over the information describing how you can participate. Your student will earn a participation prize when they return the filled-out envelope to school, and they can earn more great prizes when your family and friends help our school raise money. Don't forget to send the filled-out envelope back to school!

As many of you know, a WGS student, Gabe Draper, has been in the hospital in critical condition for several days. His family would appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Our school will be holding a fundraiser on Aug.1 to help the family. Please see the attached information. T-shirts will be available at the event, but if you would like to purchase one and are unable to attend, ordering information is at the bottom of the order form.
Registration will be held August 1st 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. and August 2nd 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
