The State of Illinois Department of Human Resources has just informed Willow Grove School that ALL of our students are eligible to receive additional money for food during this time. EACH Willow Grove Student that lives in your household is eligible to receive $182.40 for food. The money will come in the form of a LINK EBT Card. Families who are already receiving LINK Benefits are already signed-up and are pre-qualified for this additional LINK money. It will come as extra money on their LINK Card. For those families who do not already receive LINK Benefits, you can go and register for this extra food money at the following website. https://abe.illinois.gov/abe/access/accessController…
You will need to create your own account on the ABE website and you will also need to provide some basic information for the website. (Child's name, Child's Birthdate, Child's Social Security Number, etc...) BUT, this is money that can really help out the kids and parents, especially those families that have endured layoffs or who's work hours have been reduced. Again, if you could use some extra money for food during this time, PLEASE go to the link listed above and register for this money.
Here is link to a flyer that has additional information for you. http://www.dhs.state.il.us/…/2…/documents/Brochures/4980.pdf
Thank you,
Mr. Fults

Dillon enjoyed playing t-ball, and others watched Ms Sue’s daily language lessons on her YouTube channel. Schools may be closed, but leaning continues thanks to some wonderful parents. 🙂
