Earlier this week the Centralia Fire Department and Patches the fire dog came and taught our Early Childhood-2nd grade all about fireman, calling 9-1-1, how to get out of a burning house, and what to do if they ever catch on fire. The kids really enjoyed the assembly, especially Patches and his songs! Thank you Centralia Fire Department!

Kindergarten enjoyed their chilly trip to Country Kids Pumpkin Patch today!
First Grade enjoyed our trip to Country Kids Pumpkin Patch. They played in the corn pit, went down the giant slide, found their way through the corn maze, rode on the go-carts, watched pig races, picked out a pumpkin, and did many other fun activities.

Wednesday October 5th is a 2:00 p.m. dismissal
1st Grade celebrated International Dot Day today by wearing polka dots and listening to a read aloud of "The Dot," a book by Peter Reynolds. The book shares the message that having the right mindset helps you reach your goals and to persevere.
The School Store fundraiser is off to an amazing start! So far we have had 88 students participate! We are still giving out prizes for going to the link provided on the envelope that was sent home last week. We would love to have every student participate!
After the emails are sent out, your child can still receive more prizes. If those that you emailed, order something from the School Store website, your child gets credit for that too. The company will send all other prizes throughout the school year.
